Dr. S. M. D. Shameem began his surgical career as a Senior Resident in General Surgery at Government Hospital, Machilipatnam and subsequently served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mamata Medical College, Khammam. During this period, he actively participated in surgical training, academic teaching, and the management of a wide range of surgical conditions.

Driven by a passion for minimally invasive surgery, he further advanced his expertise in Laparoscopic Surgery in Hyderabad, where he underwent specialized training and gained extensive experience in modern surgical techniques.

He later worked as a Consultant Surgeon at Neelima Hospital, Hyderabad, where he developed strong skills in delivering patient-centered care within a corporate healthcare environment, combining surgical excellence with compassion and personalized attention.

Over the years, Dr. Shameem served as a Visiting and On-Call Consultant Surgeon for several reputed hospitals in Hyderabad, managing a broad spectrum of General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, and Laparoscopic Surgery cases.

He subsequently had the privilege of serving as a Senior Consultant at Srikara Hospitals, Vijayawada, where he performed a high volume of advanced laparoscopic procedures and successfully managed complex surgical cases in a busy tertiary-care setting.
